The Foundation holds its annual black-tie gala banquet and entertainment fundraising event in the fall in Newport Beach, California.  This event is the main opportunity for the foundation to raise funds to support its mission of education, early diagnosis, and treatment of primary immunodeficiency diseases in India and the U.S.

During the event Thomas Waldmann Memorial Award for Excellence in Human Immunology is presented to a scientist who has contributed significantly to the understanding of Primary Immunodeficiency Diseases, and William E Paul Memorial Award for Excellence in Cell Biology and Immunology to a scientist who has made major contributions to the understanding the mechanisms of immune responses that directly or indirectly applicable to Inborn Errors of Immunity . In the past, members of popular Broadway shows and stars of Saturday Night Live have provided entertainment.
